About the Role
The Submissions Controller plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and compliant submission of completed retrofit works to funding partners. You will audit project files, verify documentation, and coordinate with surveyors, internal teams, and customers to ensure all submissions meet current ECO4 and GBIS guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while supporting process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents for ECO4 and GBIS schemes.
* Audit project files and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards.
* Track submission timelines to ensure projects are submitted within required deadlines.
* Collaborate with field sales, operations, and surveyors to ensure compliance.
* Communicate with regulatory bodies, providing updates and responding to queries.
* Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and related correspondence.
* Support continuous process improvement and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Project Management, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field.
* 2–3 years' experience in project management, coordination, or regulatory submissions (energy efficiency/retrofit/construction desirable).
* Familiarity with ECO4, GBIS, or similar government-funded schemes (preferred).
* Excellent organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with regulatory databases is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
* £37,000 – £42,000 DOE
