Apply Now About the role Balfour Beatty are looking for an EV Electrical Trainer to join our team of professional trainers to deliver the C&G Electric Vehicle and Electrical training programme. We have 2 roles available, one to be based in Langley, England and the other in Shotts, Scotland. The purpose of this role is to deliver a suite of electrical training containing at least: 2921-31 Design and installation of domestic and small commercial electric vehicle charging installations. 2921-32 Design and Quality Assurance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations. 2921-33 Installation and maintenance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations. 2382-22 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 BB Internal ESSW BB Internal MSSW What you'll be doing Support the full range of HSES training activities within the UK, ultimately enabling the delivery of the UK HSES strategy. Product development including liaising with internal subject matter experts to deliver on our Strategy. Liaising with C&G, IOSH, IEMA, HSE and various industry and regulatory bodies Active delivery of these programmes in both classroom and virtual classroom environments Ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative and engaging C&G certified courses that meet all required aspects of the employees learning needs, C&G requirements as well as meeting business budgets. Ensure the development & delivery of high quality, innovative and engaging HSES certified courses that meet all required aspects of the employees learning needs as well as meeting business budgets. Ensure UK core HSES standards and processes are embedded into the training plans wherever possible. Maintain accurate and timely training records and reports through strong alignment and engagement with admin team. Maintain technical excellence levels for all training material. Share learning across projects and business units within respective region and contribute to the continuous improvement of the UK strategy via communities of practise. Live the Balfour Beatty Values Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm Support the delivery of UKs Sustainability activities Who we're looking for We're looking for an ECS electrician that holds the following qualifications: 2382-22 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 And preferably: 2921-31 Design and installation of domestic and small commercial electric vehicle charging installations. 2921-32 Design and Quality Assurance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations. 2921-33 Installation and maintenance of Largescale electric vehicle charging installations Hold a formal training qualification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in education and training (AET). Further requirements of the role: Able to demonstrate previous training experience. Experience in the design, delivery and sourcing of electrical training Knowledge of, or experience of working in, the construction industry/a construction related environment. Experience of Learning Management Systems Internal stakeholder and client management capability External supplier relationship management capability Excellent communication skills, with the interpersonal skills to interact and influence at all levels, be passionate about developing people and be driven to achieve success. Fully proficient in all Microsoft office packages Reliable, proactive and able to meet demanding deadlines. Able to co-ordinate and prioritise several tasks whilst dealing with day-to-day work requests. Able to deliver High levels of service delivery coupled with strong organisational and planning skills are required to ensure an effective service is delivered. Experience in the design, delivery and sourcing of HSE training. Experienced with Learning Management Systems Requires excellent Internal stakeholder, client management and external supplier relationship management capability. Excellent communication skills, with the interpersonal skills to interact and influence at all levels.
