Position Details
Facility: GSS SD Desmet Center
Location: De Smet, SD
Shift: Night Shifts (8 Hours)
Job Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!

Your Role as a Nursing Assistant
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
* Understanding and addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.
* Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal support.
* Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
* Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.
Qualifications We’re Looking For
* High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
* Minimum age of 16.
* Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within four months of hire.
* Commitment to ongoing education and competency testing.
Working Conditions
This role may require you to be classified as a Sanford Category II Driver, which involves maintaining a valid driver’s license and passing a motor vehicle report.
