Responsibilities:
6. Develop and deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum in alignment with educational standards
7. Punctual and reliable
8. Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
9. Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
10. Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
11. Organise and monitor extracurricular sports activities and events
12. Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
13. Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
14. Respond to questioning
Preferred skills:
15. Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
16. Strong classroom management
17. Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
18. Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
19. Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal attributes:
20. You will have a genuine passion for teaching
21. Experience up to key stage 3/4
22. QTS/PGCE equivalent
23. Be flexible and committed
