Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and driven Sales Development Executive to join our team, representing Haleon across grocery and key retail channels.
This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, based in Newport, United Kingdom (NP10). A UK driving licence is required.
What You'll Be Doing
* Execute in-store activities including merchandising, POS implementation, promotional displays, and FSDU builds to maximise brand visibility and sales.
* Complete scheduled store visits in line with client briefs, KPIs, and compliance standards, capturing accurate data and insights.
* Build strong relationships with store managers and colleagues to secure incremental opportunities and enhance brand presence.
* Manage your own territory effectively, demonstrating strong organisation, accountability, and attention to detail.
* Adapt to changing campaign requirements and identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
* Represent the company and client with integrity, professionalism, and a results‑driven mindset.
If you have experience in retail merchandising, stock replenishment, or planogram compliance, this position could be the perfect fit.
Location & Travel
Ideal location: Newport, United Kingdom (NP10), covering Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Cardiff, Forest of Dean, Hereford, Newport, Gwent Valleys, Swansea, Swindon and surrounding areas. A driver’s licence that enables you to drive in the UK is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Confident using smartphone apps, including photo upload and reporting tools.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
* Adaptable, reliable, and results‑driven.
* Previous field merchandising, retail, or sales experience and/or experience working within grocery or FMCG environments would be advantageous but not essential.
* Experience working in a data‑led environment, using reporting and analytics to optimise results.
