Our client, an established and growing environment consultancy with a 25-year track record is seeking a Carbon Accounting - Technical Lead to join their team based close to Exmoor in Somerset.
Main responsibilities include:
* Provide carbon accounting services to existing long-term client base
* Developing new opportunities for growth in the verification of emissions against a range of standards and methodologies across projects from a wide range of industries and geographies
* Drive growth in our life cycle assessment offering and expand this to include Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) services
* Continue to grow our services in the built environment across a range of infrastructure development projects
Skills & qualifications requirements:
* Experience of whole-life carbon management in relation to infrastructure development, products and processes
* Familiarity with a range of approaches to carbon measurement and assessment on projects
* Understanding and use of carbon accounting methodologies, guidance documents such as PAS 2080:2016, and PAS2060 and knowledge of carbon calculation accounting and life cycle assessment tools such as OneClick LCA, Etool and EC3
* Experience working on a range of carbon and climate projects

This is an in-office role with regular travel to client sites.
