Role Overview
You will be part of the reliability maintenance engineering team, maintaining the operational efficiency of manufacturing processes, ensuring machinery is in optimal condition, fostering a safe work environment, and driving continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Machine maintenance: maintain basic condition of machines within your line and perform improvement activities and repairs as required.
* Safety culture: drive a safe culture and eliminate safety risks within the workplace.
* Quality assurance: ensure that all products are manufactured according to quality standards.
* Continuous improvement: drive continuous excellence and improvements in key operational business processes throughout manufacturing.
* Collaboration: collaborate with the Maintenance Working Groups (MWG) and Autonomous Working Groups (AWG) to drive improvements using tools such as inspections, abnormalities identification, centerlining, breakdown analysis, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
Qualifications
* Engineering qualification: NVQ level 3 or equivalent recognized qualification in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Continuous improvement: passion for continuous improvement and ability to implement enhancements in processes.
* Preventative maintenance: knowledge of planned preventive asset maintenance practices.
* Problem‑solving: familiarity with root cause analysis tools and problem‑solving methodologies.
* Lean manufacturing: understanding of lean manufacturing tools, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
* Mechanical comprehension: proven mechanical competence and awareness of food safety and handling standards.
* Hygiene and safety compliance: ability to understand and adhere to strict hygiene rules and safety compliance standards.
