The United Schools Federation is delighted to invite qualified teachers to apply for this full time Reception / KS1 Class teacher role at Ipplepen Primary School, Biltor Rd, Ipplepen, Newton Abbot TQ12 5QL, starting in September 2026. Ipplepen Primary school is part of the dynamic and forward thinking United Schools Federation, who strive to ensure that the children get the very best education, opportunities and pastoral care available to them.
The position is Fixed Term, due to increased workload (Increasing pupil numbers on roll), initially for a period of 1 year, to 31st August 2027. EYFS experience would be highly desirable.
Ipplepen Primary School is very fortunate in occupying one of the most spacious and attractive sites in the whole of Devon, with a large playground, extensive playing field and an environmental area with pond. We have seven classes, one for each year group, a library and a large hall which can easily accommodate the whole school for assemblies and has ample room for drama, music, and dance. Our standards in the three core subjects, English, mathematics and science, are consistently above the national average. Our staff are supportive and welcoming and are staff eager to meet a new colleague to complement the small team of teaching staff.

You will be based at Ipplepen School, however, as a teacher with a federated contract, you may on occasions be asked to work at another school within the USF, for staff meetings and training at other schools within the group as and when appropriate.
