Experienced Assembly Operative - Ashford
We are currently recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join our client's manufacturing team based in the Ashford area. This is a hands‑on role within a busy production environment, where you will support a range of assembly and production tasks using hand tools. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace while maintaining high‑quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assembling components using a variety of hand tools
* Following work instructions and assembly specifications accurately
* Maintaining consistent quality standards throughout production
* Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
* Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Confidence and competence using hand tools
* A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work as part of a team
* The ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Hours of work
* Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.45pm
* Friday: 8.00am – 12.30pm (early finish)
