Description
* Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
* Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against targets.
* Provide leadership and support to the finance team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise funding and resource allocation.
* Support decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessments.
Profile
A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:
* A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally in the Not For Profit sector.
* Professional qualifications such as ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven experience in leading financial teams and managing budgets.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
* A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.
This role is mostly office based so candidates must be able to attend the site in Aberdeen at least 3 days a week
