Disability Assessor – Hybrid / Remote
Location: Slough (Hybrid – remote and site-based)
Eligible: Adult RGN / RMN / RNLD, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Pharmacists
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (no weekends)

Join a leading UK Health & Social Care employer as a PIP Functional Assessor – a non-treatment role focused on quality assessments, structured hours, and genuine career progression.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct detailed disability assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face appointments, focusing on how health conditions affect daily living and mobility.
Use your clinical judgment to evaluate a wide range of physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
Review medical evidence and gather in-depth clinical histories through structured, empathetic conversations.
Produce clear, objective medical reports that support benefit entitlement decisions.
Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, sharing expertise and ensuring best practice.
Utilise modern systems and technology to document findings efficiently while maintaining clinical accuracy.
Paid Training:
6–12 weeks, full-time and fully supported (dependent on experience and pathway)
No annual leave during the first 6 weeks
Notice periods can be accommodated
Who Can Apply (Must Have All):
Active UK registration as one of: RGN / RMN / RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
Minimum 12 months post-registration experience in an adult clinical setting
At least 1 year of recent UK-based clinical experience
Clean, active registration with NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
Full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Strong clinical knowledge of long-term conditions and functional assessment
Excellent written communication and objective report writing skills
Confident IT skills – ability to talk, type, and navigate multiple systems simultaneously

Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 (PIP Functional Assessor)
