Working as part of the Henderson Wholesale Fresh Team, you will provide efficient and effective assistance to the various warehouse functions to provide high service to our customers. A look into the role As a key member of our Warehouse Operations team, you will support the smooth, safe and efficient flow of goods throughout our site. This is a varied role that involves working across inbound, forklift, loading and general warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy, safety and exceptional operational standards at every stage. In this role, you will unload deliveries, check product quality, complete goods-in documentation and use scanning equipment to process stock accurately. You will also support pallet management and ensure any discrepancies or damages are recorded and escalated appropriately. You will carry out putaway and replenishment tasks using forklift equipment, as well as voice-directed picking to assemble customer orders with care and precision. Loading operations form another key part of your responsibilities, including marshalling cages, assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, managing returns, and keeping the loading area organised and safe. General duties include supporting cycle counts, quality checks, housekeeping and working closely with System Administrators and team leaders to maintain high operational and food safety standards. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health, safety and food safety procedures are essential. A safe, clean, and friendly working environment What were looking for: Previous experience (at least 6 months) of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Experience of warehouse management systems A valid reach truck license (at least to D1) A can-do attitude and willingness to learn A positive, team-focused approach to work It is desirable if you have: A valid counterbalance forklift and/or stand on license. A valid reach truck license (at least to D2) A valid Pick Truck/LLOP license Experience of working in a variety of temperature-controlled environments Manual handling training Are we right for you? Hours of Work We have a permanent full-time opportunity available, working any 5 days per week, any 4 from Monday-Saturday 5am-1pm and Sunday 8am-4pm (job to finish).
