SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Melksham
Salary: £13.68 per hour
Start date: 3rd September 2025 – Ongoing (Flexible start date)
Working hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm
Must be available to work full 5 days per week, term time only.
Drivers are preferred.
The School and Role
This dedicated SEND School in Melksham educates young people aged 3 to 19 with severe and complex needs. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to fostering a positive learning environment, working closely with students with diverse additional needs such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, physical disabilities, and emotional or behavioral challenges.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic, resilient, and possesses excellent communication skills. Experience working with young people with SEND is essential. You will work as part of a dedicated, child-centered team.
Requirements
* Experience with EYFS to post 16 aged students.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience.
* Experience working with pupils with SEND.
* Passion for supporting the progress of pupils with SEND.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
