Lecturer in Art and Design
1. Salary: £31,925 to £40,640 full time equivalent | £19,155 to £24,384 actual salary
2. Hours: 22.2 hours per week
3. Location: Selby College
We are looking for a Lecturer in Art and Design to run our level 1 and 2 programmes, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential.
As a Lecturer in Art and Design, you may teach on a range of courses including our level 3 programme and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation, and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed. Ideally, you will hold a Degree in Art and Design.
We are looking for someone with:
4. GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or equivalent as a minimum
5. A degree in Art and Design.
6. Experience of working with 16–18-year-olds.
7. Experience of high needs students
8. An up-to-date knowledge of the relevant curriculum
