What we are looking for:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join CPH2. This will be predominantly field based with some office based work when necessary. Reporting directly into the Chief Commercial Officer, the ideal candidate will be relentless at generating leads and sales, building deep customer relationships, presenting at exhibitions and conferences, and negotiate deals to meet sales targets, with customers, partners and licensees. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of the hydrogen sector and its stakeholders, being able to present and demonstrate the technology and products, while also providing responsive customer service to both new and existing clients. Additional responsibilities will include market analysis, sales reporting, and collaborating with other teams across the business.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
* Identify and research potential customers, partners and licensees, qualifying them based on agreed criteria and generating new leads and sales a through interaction
* Co-create and deliver persuasive presentations and sales pitches to highlight how products and services can solve customer's complex problems
* Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to close deals and secure contracts
* Meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas and goals
* Provide responsive and professional service to customers, partners and licensees before, during, and after a sale
* Assist with product and service enquiries and issues from any stakeholder, in particular acting as the point-person for technical questions and ensuring a satisfactory response is provide to the stakeholder.
* Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, partners and licensees, to encourage loyalty and repeat business
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, all stakeholder interactions, and deals, proposal, bids in progress or closing.
* Work with other departments, such as marketing, finance and production, to ensure a cohesive customer experience
* Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and understand market challenges
* Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
