Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – Production Music & Classical

Universal Music Group. This role sits within the Global Finance team and focuses on consolidating financial performance, supporting strategic leadership, and guiding operational and commercial decisions for Production Music and Classical divisions. Responsibilities
Consolidate and analyse monthly results for the Production Music and Classical divisions. Produce senior-level reporting packs and commentary for internal stakeholders. Act as the primary liaison with territory finance contacts for reporting, queries and submissions. Maintain, update and improve monthly templates and KPIs to ensure consistency and accuracy. Support senior finance leadership with ad hoc reporting and project needs. Contribute to global operational reviews and financial oversight. Compile and analyse monthly submissions across countries for PM & Classical. Ensure data integrity and completeness across all supplementary schedules. Prepare decks and financial commentary for senior management. Manage monthly roll‑forward of templates and trackers. Liaise with finance colleagues internationally to support a collaborative, timely reporting process. Maintain KPIs and operational review materials to support insight and decision‑making. Provide ad hoc financial support and analysis for the Senior Director, Global Finance. Day-to-day responsibilities

Strong academic background and fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Experience in financial reporting, analysis and data consolidation within a global or complex organisation. Highly proficient in Excel (including macro functionality). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data clearly. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across multiple teams and time zones. Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy. Able to manage own workload effectively, particularly under pressure and to deadlines. A genuine interest in the music industry and enthusiasm for the creative sector. Desirable
