Education Welfare Officer
We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for an Education Welfare Officer, under the guidance of senior staff, who will be responsible for improving school attendance, liaise with families, co‑operate in multi‑agency/disciplinary networks of support for young children and assist in the development of effective home‑school partnerships.
A higher grade may be considered for a candidate with the knowledge, skills and experience to take more responsibilities into the role.
Pittville School is a rapidly improving 11‑16 school situated in a superb setting in the heart of Cheltenham. Results are rising year on year and we are particularly proud that visitors to our school always comment on the excellent behaviour and attitude to learning exhibited by our students.
Term Time only plus all INSET days, 8.00am – 4.00pm - Monday to Friday.
Starting June 2026.
Grade 6 Scale Points 15 to 20 (£30,024 - £32,597 pro‑rata).
Actual Salary £25,767 - £27,975.
Contract: Fixed term (June 2026 - July 2027).
