The Role:-

We are looking for an amazing person to join our team.

This is a full-time (no condensed hours) hybrid role so ideally you will live within commuting distance to our Head Office at Baynards Green, Nr. Bicester, Oxfordshire. Part time hours of a minimum of 28hrs per week could be considered for the right person.

The Child Brain Injury Trust was originally set up by a group of medical professionals. The charity has evolved over the years and is now the leading UK organisation supporting families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury. Working in consultation and collaboration with families and professionals, the charity aims to ensure families can access the support they need, when they need it and to ensure they have the best possible chance of reaching their potential.

As part of the Team Support, you will be joining the charity at an exciting time, where we will be looking at the future needs of families affected by childhood acquired brain injury. Primarily this new role will support our Legal Support Service along with the need for the charity to further develop our data analysis processes. This is to ensure that families and children receive the best support possible. As an inclusive and forward-thinking team, you will be part of and contribute to the development of the service.

The Data Support Officer you will report into our Impact Evaluation & Monitoring Manager, supporting the Legal Support Service Manager.

Primarily, the role will provide accurate reports, presentations, and data management (Client Relationship Management system), to give the charity a greater understanding of the impact our Legal Support Service and Brain Injury Service have. This will include the collection of information, preparation of reports and correspondence, and presentations to ensure clear and professional communication.

You will need experience in data analysis, interrogation, and manipulation to identify and report trends. The role will require you to be able to manage your own time and workload with minimal supervision and to work to tight deadlines. You will need good interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be a competent Microsoft Office user, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel, and be able to adapt to new software packages and online processes quickly.

It would be advantageous to have some knowledge of the legal processes involved in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
