Due to continued growth, this healthtech business are now looking to hire a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance department.
Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist assist in day-to-day operations as well as managing the AR processes for the business. They will take on a number of key duties including:
* Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, billing adjustments, credit notes and customer queries.
* Oversee credit control, monitoring debtor balances, chasing payments and agreeing payment plans.
* Ensure accurate cash allocation and maintenance of the sales ledger.
* Prepare and deliver regular reporting on debtor positions, ageing and cash collection performance.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve queries efficiently.
* Support month-end and year-end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist with external reporting, including statutory accounts, VAT returns and other filings.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency within the finance function.
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and wider finance team activities.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position, should have the following:
* 2+ years of experience within a similar Accounts Receivable and Credit Control capacity
* Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong proficiency with Excel and associated formulas
* High level of numerical analytical aptitude
* IT literate and able to collaborate within a fast-paced start-up environment
* Experience with Xero would be advantageous

£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits:
