1:1 Learning Support – KS1 classroom in Eastleigh

Contract: Short-term ASAP – December 2025
Salary: £82 – £95 per day (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Eastleigh
About the Role
We are looking for someone who is used to working with infant children and who understands some of the barriers some might face to learning. This would be temporary work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. The desired candidate would have experience in KS1 and with neurodiversity children.
You will be supporting a KS1 student wither 1:1 or in small groups. You will enhance their self-belief, self-esteem and confidence with a personalised approach to their interventions and teaching. Alongside this, you will also provide general classroom assistance, working collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This is a rewarding role where patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will make a real difference to children in their last year of Primary School.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting personalised support for a neuro diverse child
* Providing 1:1 or small group support where required.
* Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
* Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
* Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
