Job Title: Data Protection Implementation Analyst - Hybrid - INSIDE IR35
Our client, a leading global company, is recruiting for a Data Protection Implementation Analyst to join the team on a contract basis in London.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, document, and implement new unified procedures for Personal Data Breach Management, Data Subject Rights Request Management, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Data Retention Schedules.
2. Design and execute a schedule of awareness-raising activities throughout the year.
3. Develop a Data Protection Impact Assessment template.
4. Lead the identification and implementation of a privacy management solution.
5. Design a monitoring program in collaboration with Compliance Monitoring teams.
6. Assess the impact and implications of upcoming regulatory changes and plan necessary remediation.
Skills & Attributes:
* Deep knowledge of UK and EU data protection laws and ePrivacy regulations, including PECR.
* Experience facilitating Data Protection compliance in complex, multi-company environments.
* Experience delivering remediation plans.
* Experience using privacy management solutions such as OneTrust or PrivacyEngine.
* Experience documenting Records of Processing Activities.
* Experience designing and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments.
* Experience drafting policies and procedures.
* Experience performing risk and control assessments and retaining evidence.
* Solid understanding of information technologies and data security best practices.
* Experience in Financial Services is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal, time management, and planning skills.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and balance regulatory requirements with business goals.
Qualifications:
* CIPP/E, CIPM, or Certified Data Protection Practitioner (PC.dp) qualifications preferred.
