Job Description
We’re seeking an outstanding Group Sales Director to drive commercial success across our diverse publishing imprints, managing relationships with major retailers and leading a team of sales professionals across home and international export markets.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact strategic role where you'll work directly with our CEO and Managing Directors to develop and execute sales strategies that maximise revenue, market share, and profitability. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you'll champion our authors and books while shaping the future of our sales function in an evolving retail landscape.
What You'll Do
* Develop and implement sales strategy across all imprints and channels
* Negotiate major commercial agreements with key retail partners, along with CEO and CFO
* Drive global revenue growth through innovative channel development
* Develop and motivate a high-performing team of approximately 70 people
* Provide strategic insight to inform publishing decisions
* Collaborate with global peers to align strategies and share best practices
* Lead digital transformation efforts within the sales division
