Job Role
St James is our brand-new residential care home based in Orrell in Wigan. As part of the support team here, you will play a fundamental part of helping the people we support to settle in their new home. You will get to know each of the 4 people we will support, find out their interests and help them with any anxieties as they transition into their new home.
This will be a huge period of change and may be challenging for some of the people we support. You will be a safe and reassuring presence for them, offering comfort, familiarity and encouragement at a time when it is most needed.
Were looking for patient, resilient, proactive and positive individuals who can bring calm confidence to the night shift. Energetic, active and engaging personalities work especially well here, along with people who are kind, good communicators, able to follow routines and respectful of personal space.
