In return, we will offer a competitive salary of Pro rata of £26,431 - £26,972 per annum (i.e. £11,572.49 - £11,809.36), plus pro rata of £610.08 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum (i.e. £267.12).
The Examinations Co-ordinator role:

Do you have strong administrative skills and want to support our students as they undertake their examinations?
As our Examinations Co-ordinator, you will work with a team delivering an efficient and effective service at Crawley College to all students. You will work in a team of Exam Co-ordinators, responsible for making exam entries, preparing invigilator material, communicating timetables with students and staff, recording achievement, and distributing exam results. The tasks you undertake in this role will ensure our students have the best possible experience when undertaking their exams.
Our Examinations Co-ordinator will have administrative experience, and proven experience of working in customer service. Strong proficiency with IT is also essential.
Key Responsibilities of our Examinations Co-ordinator:
To take responsibility for delivering the examinations service to your allocated area of the college's curriculum.
To process exam registrations and entries via the college MIS system and awarding organisation websites, meeting internal and external deadlines.
To purchase exam bookings for on-demand tests in liaison with curriculum staff, via awarding organisation websites, and maintain the college’s exams calendar to prevent clashes.
To plan the delivery of examinations and assessments, including timetabling, rooming and staffing, and to communicate these arrangements to staff and students.
To arrange for students to receive the exam access arrangements they are entitled to, working closely with the Additional Support team so that reasonable adjustments are applied for, recorded and delivered.
To administer the timely production, distribution and collection of exam packs for invigilators.
To resolve unforeseen problems on the day of exams to support invigilators and to ensure that exams are not disrupted.
Our ideal Examinations Co-ordinator should have the following skills and experience:
Educated to Level 3 standard (2 A Levels or the equivalent) or equivalent relevant experience
Proficient in the use of office-based IT applications; ideally Microsoft Office
Experience dealing with confidential data
A working knowledge of spreadsheet and word-processing software, preferably Microsoft Office
The ability to manage the work of a team with interpersonal skills
Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
