Vacancy: Assistant Site Supervisor
Contract: Fixed Term (52 weeks) – Potential to become permanent
Salary: Scale 5, Point 12
Hours:
* Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 / 12:30 PM
* Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 / 6:30 PM
(31 hours per week)
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Assistant Site Supervisor to support the day-to-day running, maintenance, and security of a busy school site. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping buildings and grounds safe and clean, and is happy to be part of a small site team.
Key Responsibilities
* Open and secure the premises daily
* Carry out basic maintenance, cleaning, and repairs
* Support with site security, health and safety, and emergency procedures
* Monitor and maintain supplies, equipment, and cleanliness standards
* Help set up spaces for events, lettings, and school activities
* Cover for the Site Supervisor when required
What We're Looking For
* Practical experience in site or facilities work (school setting is a plus)
* A proactive, can-do attitude with good timekeeping
* Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends if needed for cover or lettings
* Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour
* Willing to complete or already hold First Aid training
