KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Motor Vehicle Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)Location: Home/Field based - Candidates must be flexible with travel across Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire and surrounding areasSalary: £36,400Type: Full Time, FTC (52 weeks)Essential Criteria (for all candidates):
* Must hold a minimum of 5 years' solid, occupational competency as Vehicle Mechanic.
* Must hold a recognised qualification in Vehicle Mechanics at Level 3 or above.
* Must hold own Maths and English qualifications at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
* An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes is highly desirable.
* Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Must be flexible with travel.
Duties:
* Assess and mentor learners working towards Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Standards to Level 3.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
* Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
