Mash Care are recruiting on behalf of Home Instead Fareham & Gosport for caring and reliable people to join their friendly home care team supporting older adults to live independently in their own homes.
This is a Home Care Assistant role within domiciliary care, supporting people in the community rather than in a care home.
Unlike many care roles, this position offers guaranteed contracted hours, giving you reliable income and stability.
Whether you already work as a Care Assistant or are completely new to care, full paid training and ongoing support are provided.

As a Home Care Assistant / Care Assistant, you’ll help clients start their day safely and comfortably while remaining independent in their own homes.
Your role may include:
Providing personal care and companionship
Helping with morning routines such as washing and dressing
Preparing breakfast or light meals
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping
Building positive relationships with clients and their families All visits are a minimum of one hour, allowing you to provide proper person-centred care.
Shifts and Availability
Carers must be available to start work from 8:00am and work alternate weekends.
Morning shift patterns can vary depending on your availability. For example:
8:00am – 1:00pm
8:00am – 2:00pm
8:00am – 3:00pm
Some carers work shorter morning shifts while others choose longer ones. As long as you are able to start at 8am, we can discuss a pattern that works for you.
