Are you an experienced Gas Engineer with commercial experience looking for a new opportunity within a supportive team?
We are looking for a Gas Engineer with Commercial experience to join our team in Windsor on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across 2 MoD sites in Windsor. This includes servicing, breakdowns and general maintenance. You'll be working within a supportive team who, together, ensure that the site always operates to a high standard.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Maintain and service commercial gas boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
* Replace gas meters and booster sets
* Servicing commercial hot water cylinders
* Maintain and repair gas systems across the site
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues swiftly
* Review jobs and order materials to meet SLAs
* Collaborate with the Site Manager to complete and sign off job paperwork
Skills and Experience:
* Experience of working within a commercial environment as a gas engineer.
* Strong mechanical understanding that can be used to diagnose and resolves issues across the site
* Commercial Gas qualification (COCDN1) Is essential however, we will support you in obtaining any further certifications as required (CSGA1, CIGA1, COCN1 etc)
* Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
* Good knowledge of commercial gas and heating systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to pass Security Clearance to work on MoD site
