This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised individual looking for the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment. You will support the Pre-Assessment Service within the Surgical Care Division.
You will provide an efficient coordination and administration support to the nursing, medical and admin teams within Pre-Assessment.. This will include the coordination of the Pre-Assessment Digital System which holds all patients for review prior to surgery. You will also be required to gather information, provide reporting data, and liaise regularly with the specialty waiting list teams to undertake enquiries. The postholder will also provide cover for other members of the administration team in periods of leave and absence.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a high level of literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent organisation and coordination skills are required. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including MS Teams and be open to learning new local systems. You should hold a secretarial or administrative qualification to HND level or have relevant proven and demonstrable experience of working within a busy office environment.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
