Role overview
We are currently receiving a high demand of requests from Primary schools in preparation for September 2025. These settings are a mix of Academies, Catholic and local authority schools seeking a dynamic and creative Key Stage 2 Teacher to maintain and improve their KS2 standards in the next academic year. Due to the volume of requests we have a variety of contracts on offer that vary in hours and length, all roles are term time. Pay is between M1-6 pro rata.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 pupils.
* Create a stimulating and positive learning environment where every child feels valued, safe, and empowered to reach their full potential.
* Assess, record, and report on pupil progress effectively, using information to inform future planning and support individual learning journeys.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through potential involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.
* Uphold the school's ethos and values.
Requirements/What we are looking for
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (desirable).
* Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
* Creative, innovative, and able to inspire a love of learning in children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
* Commitment to professional development.
