Person specification
Knowledge
Essential criteria
1. Broad clinical knowledge of research speciality
2. Research knowledge of ICH GCP
Desirable criteria
3. Awareness of relevant national clinical or research guidelines and service frameworks
4. Understanding of research processes
Experience
Essential criteria
5. Experience caring for patients in a primary or secondary care setting
6. Relevant experience working within the speciality area
Desirable criteria
7. Participation in clinical audit and evaluation
8. Experience working within clinical research
Qualifications
Essential criteria
9. Registered with the NMC [or relevant professional body]
10. Willing to undertake GCP within 1 month of being in post
Desirable criteria
11. Have or be working towards 1st level degree
Technical Skills
Essential criteria
12. Computer literacy within a range of applications
13. Effective written and verbal communication skills
Desirable criteria
14. Venepuncture
15. Ability to seek and obtain informed consent (meets Trust consent competencies)
