Are you an experienced buildings structural engineer ready for a new challenge at a senior level?
Responsibilities
* Lead project delivery on a range of structural engineering assignments including car showrooms, steel frames, refurbishments, traditional RC frames, new build blocks of flats, commercial, industrial and leisure buildings (not targeting small residential projects).
* Take a lead role in shaping the company and its project delivery within an ambitious early-stage business.
* Run projects and mentor junior staff; maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
* Apply experience across all aspects of building design and contribute to fast-track project delivery as the business grows.
Qualifications
* Ideally MIStructE or MICE qualified.
* Experience with all aspects of buildings design and capable of running projects.
* Excellent communication skills.
About the company
Established 3 years ago and backed by a larger firm. The structural design consultancy is financially stable from the outset. The business currently has 5 staff, with 2 Directors (one twinned with another construction business) and one Chartered leader. The sister business has 15 staff and share the same office space with easy parking and proximity to the overground station.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary: £55k-£70k. Location: Herts (SG5). Fast-track promotional prospects could be available for the right person as the business grows.
