Salary: £80-£89.38– per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

The school boasts an impressive range of specialized facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, an Interactive Sound and Light room, dedicated ICT suites, a nature garden, a soft play area, and a food technology room. These tailored resources empower the team to deliver personalized support and guidance, ensuring every student receives the individualized care and education they deserve across all ages and learning pathways.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in kettering. You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEN
* Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes
* Assist the class teacher with daily activities
* Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment
* Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Who We're Looking For

Experience in a school setting is not required – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about working with children.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous experience working with SEN children (desirable, not essential)
* Be committed, patient, and reliable
* Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must
* Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be arranged via Teaching Personnel)
* Two most recent professional references (covering the last 24 months)
* Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for those who’ve lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
