Job Description Service / PDI Technician Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (Depending on experience, certifications and productivity) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (5-day week) - No Weekends! We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Service / Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our team. This is a key role requiring someone who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality work with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and precision. You will be working on used cars, of all makes and models. Key Responsibilities: Carry out thorough and meticulous pre-sale servicing and pre-delivery inspections Ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards with no room for error Use and interpret car electronics and diagnostic machines effectively Follow guided diagnostics and manufacturer-specific procedures with accuracy Maintain a neat, tidy, and organised working environment Deliver work at a high level of quality and consistency, with minimal or no comebacks Requirements: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence Competent in using vehicle diagnostics and electronics tools Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong organisational skills Desired Qualities: Previous experience in a similar role within a dealership or fast-paced workshop Relevant certifications and training are an advantage A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician who values quality over quantity, thrives in a structured environment, and wants to be a part of a professional and supportive team
