Role: 3rd Line Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £50,000
The Role:
* Technical Escalation: Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues and project challenges.
* Project Delivery: Lead projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to execution and completion.
* Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the pre-sales function to design effective technical solutions and proposals.
* Client Engagement: Work directly with clients - building relationships, understanding needs, and ensuring project satisfaction.
* Process & Quality: Manage and improve project processes, documentation, and quality standards.
* Team Collaboration: Support and mentor engineers, bridging the gap between technical delivery and leadership.
The Candidate:
* Virtualization: VMware, Windows Server environments
* Networking: Layer 2/3 switching, wireless network design, connectivity solutions
* Security & Data Protection: Backups, replication, data integrity
* Cloud & Automation: Azure (preferred), AWS, monitoring, scripting, automation
