We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team of maintenance technicians to safely deliver the maintenance of assets and equipment across our manufacturing facilities in line safety and quality standards, maximising asset life and availability. About the Role As Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled maintenance technicians, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing assets. You will champion best practices, continuous improvement and drive a proactive approach to asset reliability and performance. We empower our Team Leaders to create an environment of collaboration, learning and accountability, supporting both individual and team development. Main Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of maintenance professionals to achieve high levels of engagement and operational excellence. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely, in line with company and legal requirements. Oversee planned, preventative and corrective maintenance, optimising asset durability and minimising downtime. Identify and implement maintenance improvements using Lean, reliability-centred and data-driven methodologies. Prioritise maintenance tasks in collaboration with production, engineering and EHS teams to support business needs. Foster a culture of open communication, continuous improvement and high-performance within your team. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work using our digital systems to enable analysis and future planning. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within manufacturing, processing, or industrial environments. Awareness of best practice safety, environmental and quality systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team, handling performance, training and coaching needs. Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to analyse issues and drive root cause resolution. Excellent communication, organisational and collaboration skills. A recognised qualification in Engineering (e.g. apprenticeship, HNC, HND or equivalent) IT literate, comfortable using maintenance management systems and digital tools. Prior exposure to Lean maintenance, Kaizen, or reliability-centred maintenance is an advantage. NO RECRUITMENT AGENCIES PLEASE.
