Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager / HR Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting team management, and overseeing human resources functions. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks and relevant office software. Skills in setting up and monitoring efficient office procedures and operations would be beneficial
Pay will be pro rata the hours worked
Duties
* Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in administrative processes.
* Oversee clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document management.
* oversee lead conversion staff
* Provide support in human resources activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Supervise office staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and providing guidance as needed.
* Handling business relationships with suppliers and contractors
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls appropriately.
* Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
* Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
* Also to work closely with the MD and to assist him in his duties
* It would be helpful if the candidate were willing to learn how to do some basic work on client files
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position is essential.
* Strong clerical and administrative skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
* Previous supervisory experience is advantageous; ability to work closely with senior managers is essential
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
