Role/Team Overview
Markets Operations Transformation Team drives transformational change across Operations’ processes, risk and controls, regulation, efficiency drivers and technology investment. We partner closely with our Operations and Technology teams to build strategy and deliver a multi-year transformation, overseeing the execution with formal program management and portfolio management methodologies while leveraging data and metrics to optimize outcomes and business decision making. Our goal is to deliver best-in-class transformation to enable our Operations professionals to excel with client service excellence, robust risk management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of program management
* Partners with Technology, Operations and central program teams to prioritize delivery of key projects
* Host working groups; driving collaboration between members maintain focus, enthusiasm and momentum
* Proactively monitor progress, risks, issues and actions, escalating effectively where required
* Identify, engage and build relationships with key stakeholders to maximize program outcomes and overcome obstacles
* Confidently report and present program status in a variety of forms to stakeholders
* Maintain high organizational discipline in documentation and archival of minutes and key program artifacts and evidence
* Share and present opportunities and successes and identify how team's work fits into broader set of benefits
* Contribute to driving an innovative and continuous improvement culture within Markets Ops
Qualifications
* 7+ years experience in transformation roles
* Understanding of and passion for change management and process improvement programs using data to drive change
* Technical understanding of core processes and business lines within Banking/Markets Operations e.g. allocations, reconciliations, confirmations payment processing etc.
* Experience working in an Operations line role is beneficial
* High degree of organization and personal discipline
* Collaborative mindset with an aptitude for developing effective working relationships
* Strong problem solving abilities
* Ability to communicate complex subject matter conceptually and succinctly
