The Opportunity Our client is looking to appoint: One full-time Equine Vet, or A combination of one full-time and one part-time Equine Vet This role offers the chance to work within a modern, independent setting that prioritises personalised, welfare-focused care. The practice covers approximately a one-hour radius across Suffolk and has already built a loyal and engaged client base. There is currently a clinical bias towards lameness and poor performance, offering excellent scope for development in these areas. About the Practice This independent practice is built around a strong ethos of treating every horse and owner as individuals. They pride themselves on delivering personal, tailored, and goal-oriented care, supported by a trusted network of equine professionals. Fully ambulatory, the practice utilises modern mobile equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostics and treatment directly at the client’s yard. Additional facilities are available through local partnerships where required. The client base mainly consists of keen amateur owners with a strong welfare focus, who are open to innovative approaches and complementary therapies. The team promotes a highly collaborative and supportive working environment. The Candidate Ideally 2 years experience in equine practice, but new graduates will be supported and encouraged to apply Interest in reproductive work and/or dentistry desirable Additional training or interest in physiotherapy, chiropractic, or osteopathy would be advantageous A team-oriented approach with strong communication skills is essential What’s on Offer Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 (DOE) Future buy-in opportunity for the right candidate Enhanced holiday allowance Unlimited CPD with full support for development RCVS and BEVA memberships paid Fully equipped vehicle, iPad, and work phone provided Out-of-hours rota: Equal share (currently 1 in 6), supported by locum cover to reduce burden Why Join?
