Working for a leading specialist travel experiences provider who dominate their sector globally, the Senior Manager eCommerce / eCommerce Lead will own and optimise the end-to-end purchase experience of customers (B2C and B2B) across international markets.
This is a broad, hands-on eCommerce role focused on improving onsite conversion, increasing basket size and customer lifetime value, and driving sustainable organic growth. The Senior Manager eCommerce / eCommerce Lead will work closely with digital marketing teams to ensure campaigns, customer journeys, and traffic are fully aligned. This role reports into the VP of BD and will manage 2 direct reports (from the content team).
The UK office is based in Bristol. You can either work fully remotely (UK-based candidates) or hybrid (2 days in the office) if more convenient.
The Senior Manager eCommerce / eCommerce Lead role will:
* Own global eCommerce performance, focusing on conversion rate optimisation, retention, and lifetime value.
* Work closely with digital and performance marketing to ensure campaigns deliver impact.
* Lead testing and optimisation initiatives.
* Develop and execute SEO-led strategies to grow traffic.
* Use data and analytics to inform decisions and customer segmentation.
* Drive localisation initiatives across regions, including language considerations.
Candidates for the Senior Manager eCommerce / eCommerce Lead role must have:
* Strong eCommerce experience, ideally within the travel, activities, experience-led, or training sectors.
* Hands-on and data-driven approach.
* International experience across multi-market and/or multilingual environments.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience with eCommerce platforms and SEO tools (Commercetools/Drupal and SEMrush ideal respectively).
* Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings to collaborate with global teams.
