Shifts: 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 and 20:00 plus occasional Saturdays

We’re looking for an experienced Outpatients Nurse to join our Outpatient team as a Senior Staff Nurse at the London Bridge Hospital campus currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
This position is based at our new canary wharf site, but flexibility is required for you to work across any of our satellite centres if needed (Old Broad Street, Shard, London Bridge)
Our Canary Facility is an £18million, 20,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art outpatients and diagnostics centre in the heart of Canary Wharf.
This expansion will meet the growing demand for private healthcare in Canary Wharf. When it opens, the centre will bring a new and unparalleled level of healthcare quality, capability and accessibility to the area.
The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.
The Senior Staff Nurse will work with the Outpatient nursing team to provide a high standard of nursing care for patients, their families and Consultants within a dynamic and developing adult Outpatient Department.
The post holder will take appropriate action in managing planned and unplanned staff absence, ensuring effective and cost‑efficient use of staffing resources through ongoing supervision and review.They will provide support and advice to colleagues, working closely with members of the multidisciplinary team as required. The role includes assisting consultants with clinical procedures, accurately recording, monitoring and interpreting patients’ vital signs, and reporting to the nurse in charge when necessary.
