Key Responsibilities of a Supported Living Manager:
1. Lead a skilled team including a Deputy Manager and experienced Support Workers
2. Drive service performance and ensure compliance with CQC standards
3. Promote a positive, inclusive, and person-centred culture
4. Implement and oversee Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
5. Ensure all staff are trained and confident in PBS, Makaton, trauma-informed care, and active support
6. Support individuals with behaviours of concern using evidence-based approaches
7. Foster independence, dignity, and meaningful community engagement
Supported Living Manager Requirements:
8. Level 5 or above in Health & Social Care (or already working towards them)
9. Proven experience in managing complex services and supporting people with behaviours of concern
10. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills
11. A person-centred approach and commitment to continuous improvement
12. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
13. Resilience, professionalism, and a passion for empowering others
14. Confident in working in collaboration with other health proefessional and external parties.
15. Experience in developing person centered support plans and risk assessments.
