About the Role:
Teach engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and experiential learning through practical experiments and theoretical study
Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that supports and challenges every student
Employ diverse assessment strategies to track progress and guide lesson planning
Develop strong partnerships with students, parents, and staff to support overall student development
Participate in wider school initiatives such as science fairs, interdisciplinary projects, and enrichment programs
The ideal candidate will:
Experience teaching Science at the secondary level (specific year group expertise is advantageous but not required)
Reflective and adaptable with strong classroom management skills
Dedicated to promoting inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
Excellent communicator and proactive collaborator within a team
Passionate about professional development, innovative teaching, and inspiring future scientists
