Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wembley. This role involves providing 1:1 support for SEN pupils, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them access learning and make progress across the curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Work on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils in a KS2 setting
* Provide tailored support to meet individual learning and social needs
* Assist pupils both inside and outside the classroom, encouraging independence and engagement
* Implement personalised strategies in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO
* Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and inclusion
* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting (KS2 experience desirable)
* Ability to adapt and differentiate learning to meet individual needs
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential
