Job Description
MADIC UK are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to support delivery across our retail systems working across POS, Back Office, fuel, payments, loyalty, and digital services.
This role is ideal as a next step for someone with experience in Business Analysis, QA, systems support, or junior product roles who is ready to take greater ownership of backlog refinement and sprint delivery.
The Product Owner will work closely with the Product Team to refine high-level requirements into clear, structured, build-ready backlog items. While this role does not own the product roadmap, it plays a critical part in ensuring high quality delivery and reducing ambiguity for development teams.

Skills & Experience
• Experience in Business Analysis, QA, systems support, or similar role
• Exposure to agile delivery environments
• Experience writing user stories or functional requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with technical teams
• Experience within retail, POS, payments, or operational systems is advantageous but not essential.
Main missions
Refine high-level requirements into detailed user stories
• Write clear, structured, and testable acceptance criteria
• Prepare backlog items ready for sprint planning
• Participate in refinement sessions, sprint planning, demos
• Clarify requirements during sprint delivery
• Gather and document functional requirements from stakeholders
• Map business processes and identify operational impacts
• Support QA and UAT with validation and clarification
• Communicate progress, risks, and constraints to stakeholder
