Corporate Tax Senior Manager – Midlands South West Tax Team (Oldbury)
We are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our Midlands South West Tax team in Oldbury. The role is full or part‑time and permanent, with opportunities for progression.
You will work closely with tax partners on UK and cross‑border special and project‑based work, and will oversee complex compliance work for a portfolio of clients ranging from owner‑managed companies to large corporate groups. You will also be heavily involved in business development initiatives and in supporting audit and corporate finance colleagues.
The Role Requirements
* ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
* Significant corporate tax experience on a range of advisory and compliance projects.
* A passion for client service.
* A track record of developing new work.
Your Direct Client Responsibilities
* Lead UK and cross‑border tax advisory projects, reporting to tax partners. Examples include:
o Group reorganisations
o De‑mergers
o Due diligence
o International expansion
o Advice on financing arrangements
o Transfer pricing reviews
* Oversee compliance work for larger or more complex clients.
* Assist with R&D reviews, capital allowances projects and other compliance‑related planning.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contacts.
* Identify opportunities to offer additional services (VAT, personal taxes, payroll taxes, corporate finance support, etc.).
* Apply solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS accounting fundamentals.
* Recommend improvements to client business processes.
* Take primary responsibility for the financial performance of client and project work.
