I’m currently working with a leading waste and resource management business that is experiencing rapid growth and expansion. This is a highly credible organisation with a strong reputation in the market, partnering with businesses across the UK to deliver compliant, sustainable, and innovative waste and recycling solutions.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to lead their marketing strategy and support the next phase of commercial growth.
The Role
This is a key, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the marketing function, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and market positioning within the waste, recycling, and sustainability sector. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and sales to ensure marketing activity directly supports business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and deliver a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy
-Own and evolve brand positioning within waste, recycling, and sustainability
-Plan and execute integrated campaigns to support sales growth and retention
-Work closely with sales to generate qualified leads
-Manage digital marketing activity (website, SEO, email, social, paid campaigns)
-Produce high-quality marketing collateral, case studies, and thought leadership
-Monitor market trends, legislation, and competitor activity
-Manage agencies, suppliers, and marketing budgets
-Track performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness
-Support PR, events, trade shows, and industry exhibitions
About You
-Marketing qualifications
-Proven marketing management experience
-Strong B2B marketing background (services-led preferred)
-Experience supporting sales teams and driving lead generation
-Strong understanding of sustainability, compliance, and environmental messaging
-Digitally confident and data-driven
-Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
