Your Role 4 days on, 4 days off - This role is responsible for the day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload on to trailers Your Responsibilities - Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE - Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures - Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested - Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process - Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training - Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives - Maintain the inspection environment following training - COSHH Awareness following training - Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices - Champion a health and safety culture Your Skills and Experiences - Logistics experience in a large fast moving environment - Strong warehouse system experience - Strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work - Experience of working to agreed targets - Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook - Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading - Ability to work individually or as part of a team - Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner - Good Communication skills - Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy - High attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal skills - Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absence when required Good Reasons to Join As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.
