This school is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach mathematics across Key Stage [Insert Key Stage(s)], ensuring high standards of learning and progress
* Use a variety of teaching methods, including practical applications and technology, to engage students
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum and share best teaching practices
* Support extracurricular activities, such as maths clubs, competitions, or enrichment programs
Ideal Maths Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics
* Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
* A commitment to high standards of teaching and supporting students’ development
* The ability to inspire students and make maths accessible and enjoyable
