Job Summary
Are you a Sales Manager looking to grow your career with a market leading company providing temperature monitoring solutions to a wide range of sectors including Aerospace, Automotive and Food? Based in the UK you will have occasional travel (up to 3 months a year, usually 2 weeks per trip to the US).
Basic salary: GBP 50,000‑60,000 annually with an uncapped bonus paid quarterly. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company pension scheme.
Our expanding company specialises in industrial temperature measurement systems and is looking to accelerate overseas growth with a forward‑thinking team.
Location
East Midlands / East Anglia; commutable locations include Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Lincoln, Nottingham, Leicester.
Key Responsibilities
* Visiting customers, supporting representatives and handling direct sales.
* Delivering technical product demonstrations and running trials at customer sites.
* Establishing, managing and growing key account relationships.
* Providing installation support, on‑site training and ongoing technical assistance.
* Identifying customer requirements and offering the best solutions through a consultative sales approach.
* Generating leads and developing new routes to market to complement our existing structure and increase brand awareness.
Qualifications
* Experience selling a technical solution, consumable or component.
* Proven B2B technical sales experience (capital equipment, components, services, etc).
* Knowledge of Food, Automotive, Aerospace markets a plus, but not essential.
* Enjoys solving customer problems and building long‑term relationships.
* Driven and progressive with a proven track record of success and a desire to develop an internal career.
